We are all Human

This is the first episode of my new podcast series – Stories for Grace Rene.

The first story is from Grace’s Grandmother. She is reflecting on her role in the civil rights movement in the 1960s and what is happening in the world now.

“I never thought I would live to see the first African American President, so maybe I will live to see when we will begin to have more unity in this country. And unity doesn’t mean that everyone thinks, or believes, or acts, or behaves in the same way, it’s just that you don’t penalize people because they don’t look like you, or act like you, but you respect the fact that they are humans. And all humans need to be respected and treated in a more positive manner.”
